Welcome to the Treatment Reviews series!

In here, I will be reviewing the many treatments I've been on over my 26 years! From lathering, slathering, swallowing to injecting, this is my opinion on the many prescribed fixers and helpers I've. been given!

I will have these reviews in two parts -

All *Facts sources will be linked and listed should you wish to do further research on any of the treatments I review.

Please understand and remember - WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT. What affected me, may not affect you in the same way or even at all, and what you have no issues with may have caused me hell.

I want this tab to be a space you can share your experiences too, and hope you feel comfortable enough to add your own experiences to share a broad range of positives and negatives for those who may be looking at these treatments for themselves or a loved one. Please be mindful of this as we all know how scary a new treatment can be, some of them, in particular, can be horrid to read about.

Now that that's all out of the way, if you would like to know about a particular treatment, that I have missed, please comment it below! I have been on so many that it's hard to remember them all, and if you have one I don't know about, I would love to know more about it for myself, as well as you guys!

Some of these reviews are not happy tails. Some are quite the opposite. If you feel that you would like to skip the *My Experiences side for those, I will add a little warning at the beginning for you.

Progress Report - Taltz Update

Hello guys! Welcome and welcome back! I've been gone a while and I'm here to tell you why! So as you may know, I was put on Taltz at the start of August. I've got a few progress report posts in the "Current Treatment" tab. I had been experiencing headaches and migraines since beginning treatment, and was feeling alot of fatigue. I had put it down to starting a new treatment and having a loading dose - two needles on the same day. But the headaches continued. I was also dealing with extreme exhaustion, continued joint pain, and a few other things. And then I got sick. I went to the doctor at the end of August with what I thought was the flu. Humira - Treatment Review

Ahhhh Humira. 💗💚💚 I know. You guys will probably think that I'm ridiculous saying Methotrexate was my most memorable after reading all this, but for reasons unbeknownst to me, it still sticks out more to me than Humira does, for all the wrong reasons! *Facts - Humira ( Adalimumab ) is another anti-rheumatic. It's used for treating a range of Auto-Immune Diseases such as rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis, Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, to name a few. It works because it is a TNF inhibitor , which is a part of the body's inflammatory response. (This is great if you, like me, enjoy tattoos - quick healing times :p) It is available as a Pre Filled Pen or as traditional pre filled injection. these can be done yourself with training, or by a loved one - or by your treating physician. Current Treatment - One Month Taltz Update

Hey Guys! So, today marks 1 month on Taltz! This adventure has so far been a bumpy ride. It has definitely helped my skin, but differently to how Humira or anything really, has helped in the past. I'm still having trouble with my joints, although I'm definitely in less pain, I'm still in some pain, and still feel the restrictions in my movements as I did before I started. To my knowledge, this is currently in trials to become a PsA treatment, but unless mine isn't PsA, it's not really helped as much on that front as I'd hoped it would. While the side effects have been more prominent, they have been mostly common. The headaches have been fairly extreme, almost daily. While Neurofen or Panadol takes the edge off, its back as soon as they wear off.  The exhaustion. I have been so tired you guys.
